AI Connection & Usage Policy
Choose your subscription, your API key or hamke AI for each teammate. Check who pays and where work runs before connecting.
1. Three connection options
Connect a Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek or Grok API key. Run in the cloud and pay your provider directly.
Start without creating API keys. Use a prepaid balance, with AI costs accounted for separately.
2. Your subscription and official apps
Sign in through the built-in authentication of your own official Claude Code or Codex. The hamke connector passes work and provides approved office tools; it does not extract provider credentials or upload them to hamke. Keep your computer and connector online. Node.js and the official CLI are required on macOS, Linux or Windows WSL.
Personal connections serve only their owner’s work. Do not lend a personal seat or operate one personal account on behalf of multiple people. A subscription is neither unlimited use nor API credit. Provider limits and extra usage settings apply, so additional charges cannot be ruled out. Consumer Gemini and DeepSeek logins or subscriptions are not supported as substitutes for APIs.
3. API keys and workspace sharing
Connect only authorized business API keys. Personal scope is owner-only; workspace scope is an administrator-managed organizational connection. Sharing does not reveal or sell the key to members. Use must fit the provider agreement’s permitted end-user and delegated processing scope. The provider bills you directly.
4. hamke AI usage
hamke integrates its contracted official APIs into office functions and never distributes its operating keys. Credit purchase and use are enabled only when payment and provider settings are ready. Review the USD amount before prepaid top-up. Automatic top-up runs only if a workspace admin turns it on, charging the default card by the amount and within the monthly cap the admin sets.
USD usage is calculated from provider-reported input, output and cache tokens and published model rates, including supported time discounts. Verified invoice differences are recorded and reconciled. Workspace fees remain separate. We reserve the estimated request ceiling, so a small remaining balance may be insufficient for the next request.
5. Data and provider conditions
Only the selected provider receives the required work context and tool responses; there is no automatic switch. Gemini API connections must use a billing-enabled project. Do not expose sensitive work to unpaid-service training or review conditions. Prohibited provider uses, including clinical diagnosis or treatment, remain prohibited. Review DeepSeek’s processing in China before choosing it. See Privacy Policy for recipients, regions, retention and rights.
6. Limits and disconnection
Monthly budgets reset on the first day in Korea time and include completed costs and pending reservations. They exclude use of the same key outside hamke; set provider-side limits as well. Subscription API-equivalent estimates are reference values, not subscription bills or guaranteed savings.
New requests stop on limits, insufficient balance, authentication failure or disconnection. Requests already submitted may still incur cost. Sign out of the official provider app separately. Uncertain API calls retain a reservation until their cost is verified and reconciled.
7. Applicable policies
Reviewing public documents is not individual provider approval or a guarantee of zero legal risk. Country, account agreement and policy changes can affect eligibility. hamke is an independent service and does not claim provider partnership or endorsement. Contact info@hamke.ai.
